Senior Coordinator/Specialist, Business Development (Financial Restructuring)
Location: NYC (Hybrid)**

Our client is seeking a Senior Coordinator or Specialist to support their Financial Restructuring Practice Group.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare pitches, proposals, and client meeting materials, including strategic recommendations and tailored documents.
  • Conduct research on companies, industries, and competitors for pitches and initiatives.
  • Gather intelligence on legal industry trends and explore new opportunities.
  • Collaborate on cross-selling initiatives and develop business development and marketing plans.
  • Support cross-border and cross-departmental key client work and relationship development.
  • Plan and support practice-related events, seminars, and briefings.
  • Enhance the practice's profile through PR and communications.
  • Maintain business development and marketing databases.
  • Track business development activities, including meetings, presentations, and pitches.
  • Support profile-raising efforts, including writing directory and award nominations and maintaining website content.
  • Perform special projects as requested.

Proficiencies:
  • Excellent communication and proofreading skills.
  • Knowledge of legal and professional services marketing trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, document management, and CRM systems.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to turn data into actionable deliverables.
  • Understanding of law firm operations and corporate legal clients.
  • Advanced marketing principles and practical applications.
  • Networking and relationship management skills.
  • Team building, management, and leadership abilities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, law, or business (required).
  • 3+ years of experience in business development or marketing at a peer law firm (Am Law 100 preferred).
  • Experience supporting a Financial Restructuring practice group (required).
