Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager for their Media & Entertainment practice group.
Responsibilities:
- Support key client efforts and collaborate on strategic business development and marketing initiatives.
- Develop and implement business development and marketing plans, including setting goals and deadlines.
- Draft proposals, pitches, and other client communications.
- Drive content-driven campaign strategies for new business opportunities.
- Identify and pursue cross-selling initiatives with the global business development team.
- Provide intelligence on legal industry trends and explore opportunities.
- Plan and oversee seminars, events, and targeted marketing activities.
- Collaborate with digital marketing and social media teams on campaign strategies.
- Manage relevant business development budgets.
- Enhance the practice's profile through PR and communications.
- Travel as needed for initiatives and activities.
- Lead additional projects as assigned.
- Support profile-raising efforts, including writing directory and award nominations and maintaining website content.
Proficiencies:
- Knowledge of legal and professional services marketing trends.
- Proficiency in MS Office, document management, and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication, editing, and research skills.
- Strong understanding of law firm operations and corporate legal clients.
- Advanced knowledge of marketing principles and practical applications.
- Networking and relationship management skills.
- Team building, management, and leadership abilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, law, or business (required).
- 7+ years of marketing experience (preferred).
- Experience in a Media & Entertainment practice group (preferred).
- Management experience in a corporate law firm (AMLAW 100 preferred).
